  • What are the best and worst things about your job?

The best thing about it is that I don't have to do anything. I can watch TV whenever I want to. I can go online & browse whenever I want to. I can eat & sleep whenever I want to. I get a lot of time to see the family. I don't have to get up at the same time every day nor go to bed according to a routine.

The worst thing about it is that I don't generate any income. So that means I can't buy food, clothes, or anything.
Basically, I just graduated from college & am currently unemployed.

  • What do you think every single person should try at least once in his or her life time?

I think everyone should try to find at least one thing in life that they are passionate about, and indulge in it. Personally, my passion is music. I love making music, composing the track, producing it, then writing the lyrics to go with it, and finally performing it. I know of people who have other passions. One friend of mine is an aspiring wushu athlete. He hopes to one day make it into the U.S. wushu team, and he pretty much practices wushu every day. There are also MMA fighters out there who train hard every single day because they want to make a career out of the one thing they love doing most.

However, I do realize that some people just aren't passionate about anything. They don't have hobbies. They like to do little things here & there, but they don't get into it deeply. I say, take the time to find out your passion. It could be fishing, playing poker, basketball, baseball, football, hockey, ping pong, video games, knitting, cooking, making drinks, dancing, comedy, acting, figure skating, teaching, filming, rapping, or making hip hop beats at home, etc...

Go out and find your passion, and indulge yourself in it if you haven't already. If you already have a true passion, and are going about ways to fulfill it, then kudos to you!!

  • What is the oldest piece of clothing you own?

The oldest piece of clothing I own is probably my dad's old Adidas jacket he used to wear when he was my age. Surprisingly, that jacket is super small. It actually doesn't even fit him anymore today. It also doesn't fit me either. What's weird about it, is that he had that jacket when he was still living in Laos. Of course, in that third world country, people were poor, and I'm assuming he didn't have enough to eat, so he was very thin then. Then we came to America, and he became more plump, heheh. Anyways, I still keep that jacket as a memorabilia to remind myself of my roots, and where our family came from. When comparing that old jacket to the clothes we wear now, I can defiinitely feel much more greatful for the things we have today & not complain about the things we don't have.

  • Today's Music Industry: How Technology & the Internet Has Changed It

The music industry has been changing greatly. Today, there are more & more opportunities for anyone who is an aspiring musician to get noticed, whether they be a singer-songwriter, rock band, rapper, or producer. The creation of Myspace (& other musical online communities) allows for exposure of people’s music. With a self-produced demo, you can post your songs up on Myspace, and after establishing a great following of fans, Major Record Labels might notice you & even choose to sign you. This is very different from the olden days, when trying to get your music exposed wasn’t as easy.

Also, the creation of mp3’s, online music stores & distributors (such as iTunes, Soundclick, & Pure Volume), has made it very easy for artists to distribute their music. No longer will you have to go to a studio to record your songs onto cd’s in order to give out to your friends and other people to listen. All you have to do is buy a computer, and with the necessary digital recording programs out there available, you can record your songs as mp3’s & distribute them all throughout the internet. Obviously if your songs are good enough, people will like them and pass them along to others, and you will get noticed.

Besides audio recording, digital technology has made the creation of music easier in other aspects. Due to more & more developments in digital audio workstations, anyone can produce their own music at home. No longer will you need to buy drum kits, keyboard synthesizers, & other music production hardware. You can go through the whole process of creating your own music through the use of your home computer. Heck, if Soulja Boy can get famous by spending just one summer making beats by playing around with Fruity Loops Studio, doesn't that mean that ANY one of us can do it too?
